It was my honor to have served in the U.S. Air Force when President Ronald Reagan was my commander-in-chief. President Reagan’s enduring legacy is the end of the Cold War, the 46-year standoff between the United States and the Soviet Union and their proxies around the world. ...

Ron Miller The politicians may lie but the liberal elite know what the stakes are with health care, and they condone deceit in order to achieve their goals. Behold the truth!

Source: online.wsj.com
The Wall Street Journal writes that ObamaCare supporter John Cassidy speaks the truth about the health-care legislation. It is a vast new entitlement program that once established will be impossible to rescind.

Ron Miller As I watch politicians struggle with how to vote on the issues facing them, I'm reminded of what a friend told me when I was being pressured to moderate my position on an issue: "Be a Republican." That assumes, of course, that the Republican stands on principle, which isn't a guarantee these days. Be a discerning voter!

Carol, I do what I can, from the great state of GA, to help financially support candidates that I believe in. I have made a pledge to myself that even if I can only send $10 or $20, I will do that on a round robin type of basis. I feel it is very important that we reclaim our country from the liberal democrats, so that means I have A LOT of ... Read Morecandidates to get to. Mr. Miller is on my list. =)

Ron, THANKS! He just said it so well - much better than I ever could - and that's what we, as conservative voters, are STARVING for!

Ron Miller I have the same feeling about the health call bill passed on Saturday as I did the night Obama was elected - I ache for the millions of people who expect miracles from their government when none are forthcoming. I want health care reform, too - that's why this bill angers me because it reforms NOTHING.

I guess that is the real fact---REFORMS NOTHING! That should be the mantra of people against this bill! Nothing more needs to be said than REFORMS NOTHING!

Ron Miller The final tally on this deeply flawed health care takeover bill was 220 to 215. 39 Democrats voted in opposition to it and showed great courage. One Republican voted for it, Joseph Cao of Louisiana. He was elected in a predominantly black district to replace Rep. William "Cold Hard Cash" Jefferson who had been convicted of fraud. I guess his constituents put the squeeze on him - I know Obama did.

Heather, don't worry, the government has experience and 100% success record to deliver the next generation another failed, ever expanding government program, oh, and more debt; as we have with SS and Medicare.

God help us all.

Ron Miller Universal healthcare is bankrupting Maine, Massachusetts and Tennessee. The insistence on making it a national failure comes from either ignorance or ulterior motives. Take your pick.

Universal healthcare voted on in the dark of night, with no real authority for the federal government to do. Maybe it is time to figure out a way for the states to recall these so call representatives and put them on trial for not performing within their oath of office.

Ron Miller The state and the nation are facing record unemployment numbers, and many economists think the number is understated. Politicians should refrain from using the word "recovery" until people are working again. There is no "recovery" without jobs.

I agree Ron. To call this a recovery is ridiculos! I am hearing the true unemployment rate is like 17 percent when you factor in those who are under employed and those who have just given up looking. Gotta love this stimulus eh!

Ron Miller The breakdown of this poll is even more intriguing than the overall numbers. Baltimore area, 45-45; Western Maryland 50-28 (Ehrlich); Eastern Shore/Southern Maryland 51-38 (Ehrlich); Washington suburbs 61-19 (O'Malley). It's Montgomery and Prince George's County dragging Ehrlich down.
