And for the third time in a row – don’t let the final score fool you! If college basketball games were 30 minutes long instead of 40, the Hokies could easily be 0-3 at this point. But once ...

Another uninspiring performance, especially on defense. I couldn't believe how many easy layups they were getting. But a win is better than a los any day. However, with Temple up next, if we don't tighten things up considerably we'll soon be 3-1.

TechHoops.com The Hokies improved to 2-0 with a 59-46 win over ung greensboro tonight at the Cassell. Defense looked good, but the offense was abysmal. A win is a win, though, right?

Not so sure I agree that the defense looked good. Decent, I'd say but they allowed uncg to penetrate way too much without any inside help until we pulled away late in the 2nd half

The defense in the second half was pretty good. I was pleased with that aspect of the game. As you say, the weakside help could have been better in the first half. But I couldn't believe how many wide open looks at the basket we were missing. Even stickbacks right under the basket wouldn't go down. I'm just hoping it was an off game. If not, it's gonna be a long season.

Remember midnight madness? Man, that used to be so much fun. Yeah, well, they don’t do that any more. Now it’s called “Late Night with the Hokies.” It’s kinda lame sounding, but for die hard Tech Hoops fans, it’s the fix we need until the season starts on Nov. 15.
