Anna Williamson I would love to have one. I have a herniated disk and sleeping on my spring bed makes it worse. I can't afford one right now. Looks like everyone who has one loves them. Maybe one day....

Lorraine Brunstorff I purchase a Tempur-Pedic bed and wow that's the best thing i ever did i do not care to get out my bed at all i love it

Ian McLaren Had L5-S1 laminectomy for a double herniation 2 years ago. Bought the allura 4 months ago and have no stiffness when I wake. I am a side sleeper also and no longer have shoulder pain when I wake. I could not imagine my life without this bed anymore, it is the mot comfortable bed I have ever slept on and now have the... luxury of sleeping on it everynight. My girlfriend even says it helps with her hip and knee pains. My only negative is the price, make these more affordable.

Carmen Elena Mitchell Hey - does anybody here know anything about Tempurpedics and Scoliosis? I just bought a tempurpedic Classic about a week ago, and am having a really hard time adjusting to it. I wake up everymorning and several times a night with severe achyness. I have a 22/35 degree curve (upper/lower respectively), and it feels like... the softness and lack of resistance is causing the pain (like the bed "gives in" to the curve). On the other hand with a conventional mattress I get horrible knots, and tightness in specific places in my back. Can anybody here with scoliosis give me some insight on this?

Michelle Bova Help!! I have such horrible back problems, and a friend recommend I try the tempur-pedic bed, I want opinions, do you think it was worth the price? Thanks for feedback

Tara Wenzel Ok I got a new venue for Tempur-Pedic. Make gym floors. All you have to do is walk around on that for 5-10 and your've broken a sweat. Imagine a whole call at a gyms on that stuff. it's harder then walking on wet sand.

Tara Wenzel Does anyone have the Advantage model? We've had it about a week and it's still hard as a rock. How long does it take to soften up?

Madison McGonigal I ♥ My Tepur-Pedic

Andrew White I've had Osteochondritis since I was a young boy. My wife and I purchased the King bed and "SidePillows" a year ago now. Unfortunately, this bed has really ruined both of us : ( ...... We now find it hard when ever we travel to get a good, solid sleep and wake up feeling refreshed like we do at home. Anything else no...w feels like a sack of potatoes. The pillow has even helped my snoring. THIS IS THE BEST BED EVER!!!

Michele We purchased our Tempur-Pedic in 2001. I have a bad back injury & this bed has been a life saver for me. Both my husband & I just love this mattress. We've had it for over 8 years now. We dread having to stay in a hotel because no mattress is as comfortable as this mattress. There IS a break-in period. Also, if t...he room is very cold the mattress will initially be firm. As you lay on the mattress it will soften up due to your body heat & the mattress soften up & will allow it to conform to you. I agree with the Tempur-Pedic literature that it probably takes a few weeks to get accustomed to the new mattress - BUT - once you do - I think you'll never want to use another type of mattress. At least for us, this is the only type of mattress we will ever want to have!! Give it the 90 day try-out period. If not, at least you CAN return it. I'd buy another one!!

Kenneth Klein I purchased a Tempur-Pedic Classic four months ago. I tried out 4 or 5 different Tempur-Pedic models at the Sleepy's showroom before deciding on the one I want. (As in Goldilocks and the Three Bears, one was too soft, one was too hard, and one was "just right".) It did take me a few days to get used to sleeping on it. ...Even now, when I lie down on it, it feels very firm, yet I feel no pressure on any part of my body - very comfortable to sleep on.
