New story from TI Blog Update
Hey all, If you're looking for a fun and cool way to get involved on campus and give back, I highly recommend joining the Terp Service Weekend committee. This is my second year on the committee and I've really enjoyed working with other passionate individuals to put on... one of UMD's coolest events. Terp Service Weekend is a two-day event that takes place in the spring where UMD students show up en masse to volunteer in the surrounding Maryland and DC community. You can volunteer on one of the days or both, and you'll have the opportunity to choose from a huge variety of service sites--everything from painting to environmental clean-ups to working at a benefit race in DC.
