Texas Daytripper As I flee inside to escape the swarming mosquitos, I pause and have great empathy for the Germans who landed on the Texas coast in the mid 1850's only to find that they had no transportation to transport them to their new homeland. They were stuck on the beach with no shelter against the onslaught of the mosquitos and their accompanying diseases. One has to admire their perseverence!

Faith - Here is a map I did back in 1998. Go to Wimberley first, then find Flite Acres Rd off of 3237 out of Wimberley. Follow Flite Acres road east and watch carefully to the right for CR 174. Surrounded by my people. And yes, Georgeanne I did think of you while I was there !!! I remember you telling me how much you like it. A friend of mine who I have known for many years pointed to a picture on the wall by the door it was two Deputy Sheriff's with John Travolta in the middle.He smiled and said "Thats my Dad on John's right and Bill Clare on his left. Bill Clare passed away a few years back" I thought it was cool, so I thought I would share that with Y'all. Next time your in Gruene Hall please look at it.
