Hope you had a great weekend! It's amazing out right now...it's warm and sunny...in November...in New Jersey...good stuff. Excellent day for riding a bike, running (or walking)...and then of course finish it all up with eating and shopping. Question to you all about fireworks: did you like fireworks once a week during ...the summer and would you like to see bonfires intermingled on a regular schedule or just for special events? I was really digging those bonfires. I'd like to get your feeback on what you'd like to see here next year.Read More

If you weren't able to check it out last year, here a chance catch classic, Indie and documentary films at at either the Paramount Theatre, The Showroom or Watermark. Just go to one of the ...participating restaurants starting at 6:30pm for a special Prix Fixe Dinner and will be given a ticket along with your check to view an exciting 8:00pm film. Looks like a sunny day in Asbury Park! To the left in this picture is Convention Hall and the Beach Bar and this will be the location for the bonfire tonight. The bonfire and the amazing band De Sol start at 7pm and fireworks go off at 8:30pm. This season's send off for the Beach Bar will also include hors d'oeuvres, d...rink specials and givaways. Asbury Park Boardwalk Bonfire and Fireworks on the Beach tomorrow night (10/30)! The bonfire will be near the Beach Bar as part of their Last Taste of Summer (a thank you to their 2009 patrons). The night will include will include music by de Sol, beach bonfire, fireworks, beach buffet, drink specials and giveaways.

Asbury Park Boardwalk Rainy out earlier this morning but it looks like its slowing down (still a little dark out there). The attached pic many of you recognize as the Carousel Building...such amazing architecture and ironwork. The Carousel Building hosts receptions, music, theater performances and movie screenings (maybe even yoga next summer)...really a stunning building and so cool.
