Asbury Park Boardwalk Happy New Year!!! Wishing you all the best in 2010 and thank you for a great 2009! One way to kick off the year is with 8th Annual Sons of Ireland Polar Bear Plunge in Asbury Park today. Registration is from 10am - noon, at 12:30pm there will be a bagpipe march to the beach, 12:57pm is the national anthem and then at 1...pm you take a dip into the Atlantic (all for charity). Food and then entertainment by Brian Kirk & the Jirks. Have a great day!

Asbury Park Boardwalk Congratulations again to Bruce Springsteen for receiving the 2009 Kennedy Center Honors (which aired last night). Did you catch the backdrop for the performances...it was of the Casino Building with a view down the Boardwalk to Convention Hall....very cool!

Asbury Park Boardwalk Hope everyone had a great weekend!Spotted a few fishermen out this morning and several runners. Tonight is Karaoke with DJ Mike at The Wonder Bar and The Bouncing Souls at The Stone Pony. Just a reminder: we go back to regular retail hours this week....stores are open today from 11-7pm and closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and restaurants are open all week long.

Hello Everyone. Very sunny again today! Great shopping is underway on the Asbury Park Boardwalk....shops are open 11am to 7pm through the 24th, so come out and discover some amazing gift finds. APFI presents It's A Wonderful Life tonight (12/23) in the legendary Paramount Theatre as part of the dinner and a movie serie...s. At 7pm there will be a visit from Santa and Frosty and then this classic, holiday favorite film will start at 8pm. Also tonight, The Parlor Mob will be at The Stone Pony and LaPlaca Pottery Works will have their Holiday Party.
Asbury Park Boardwalk Very sunny in Asbury...I actually spotted two runners on the beach this morning! Quick reminder that all the Boardwalk shops are open this week and they have really amazing gifts (plus you will love all the shop owners). There are the bigger cool gifts like bikes and surfboards, there's great clothing, hostess gifts an...d houseware, candy apples for all your crew at the office, Stone Pony tshirts, classic Asbury framed photos......don't think I can fit it all here but you get the idea. Asbury Park Boardwalk I hope everyone made it through the snow safely and had a great weekend! There's still a good deal of snow to clear today...good news is it's sunny and the ocean is sparkling. Mark your calendars - on Wednesday the 23rd APFI presents It's A Wonderful Life in Paramount Theatre! What a great venue to catch a classic like this right before Christmas!

Asbury Park Boardwalk Lots of snow out there! JT just shot me these camera phone pics. For shopping or dining today, please call first to confirm hours...there may be delayed opening. It is beautiful out there but the snow has caused event cancellations for today. The Polar Bar in the Grand Arcade will be closed today. Sorry to say that pho...tos with Santa are cancelled for today...(Santa could make it through the snow of course but elves aren't so great with slick road conditions). We regret that the day of holiday films is cancelled today but please join us on Wednesday night for It's A Wonderful Life.
