The Bike Hut just received this pic of a tiny "speed bump" near The Hut. The Bike Hut fan kindly moved him off the road into the fields, though explained that many of his brethren had suffered a squished fate.

The Bike Hut received another generous donation recently. A member of the Alto Velo Bicycle Racing Club gave us many pounds of homemade beef jerky and dried apples to sell in the Hut. It's delicious - enjoy!!

The Bike Hut will continue to post news to this FB fanpage, but we are also updating our direct email service. If you'd like your Bike Hut news sent straight to your email address, please follow the link below to be added to our MailChimp email database.

The Bike Hut enjoyed having the Low-Key group here today. Check the link below to learn more about their rides. We want to thank Barry and the other volunteers and, of course, the riders, for their choosing The Bike Hut as their starting point today and hope we'll see you all here again soon. We're eager to see the results of today...'s ride posted. Remember, The Bike Hut is open 24/7/365!!!

The Bike Hut had the Tour for Woodside here Sunday and it went very well. Ruby's lemonade stand was a hit, too. Thanks to all the people who rode for this great benefit.

The Bike Hut wants to thank three fans who just donated 50 pounds of snacks to sell at the Hut which means pure profit for many months which will subsidize our work with low-income communities -- education programs and food giveaways and discounted food sales. Thanks, then, to these generous gentlemen: Michael Lawrence (Pacific/At...lantic Crop Exchange), Wylee Eichler (Sunridge) and Bruce Brinker (Sunridge).

The Bike Hut passed the 300 mark today!!! Thanks to all our loyal 301 fans. BTW, we had to move our Bike Hut signs because they were in the county right of way, but please keep passing the word that we're here to all your rider friends. And remember the upcoming Tour for Woodside benefit ride and that Ruby, the Lemonade entrepreneur, will be here that day.

The Bike Hut The Tour for Woodside will use The Bike Hut as an official rest stop for their charity ride on September 27. The ride supports the Woodside High School Foundation - see the link for details. As a special treat to riders, a 6 year old Bike Hut fan and entrepreneur named Ruby from Oakland will be selling lemonade!! Her b...usiness savvy also extends to a small pastured egg operation whose name is Villa VilleCOOLa Egg Co.
