The Bonde Just heard that we will not have a full onsite Bonde tech rehearsal at The United Nations the day before; just a quick sound check day of the big event. (That happened at The IZOD Center and The Bitter End also.) It always just works out though. We hope to get stage specs soon so we know how much we can dance also!

Amazing experience at Colts Neck Music Shop. This is Bruce country and Queen L lives down there too. Hung out for hours and jammed with owner Bob and other musicians. Incredible place to get a guitar. Loving the new Taylor! (Worth the drive from NYC.)

The Bonde Meeting with a guitar guy today to look at best options for writing, performing and recording. This guitar guy works with the biggest rock stars. We were linked to him by this incredible bass player. Excited to learn more about guitars and hear great music stories.

The Bonde We met Rapper Thee Tom Hardy in North Carolina this weekend. He heard us sing at the wedding. He offered to rap on a Bonde song and write something together! He is working with amazing producers, management and Grammy musicians. He is about to pop. Tom is so funny! He totally gets our Bonde humor. We hope to connect with him in NY soon.
The Bonde On our way to meet with Band Geeks. These guys are the young, talented beatmakers who helped create the very catchy beat for our original Bonde song, "Unplugged" - for The World Health Day Anthem 2010.
The Bonde We just sang "Yes Lord" by Niyoki during our dear friends' wedding processional as per the Bride's request. The wedding was very spiritual. It was all about the love of the Bride and Groom. There was a moment where their parents hugged them and prayed around them. A mega singing star was in the audience. No one bothere...d him and his family. Bride and Groom were beaming as they exchanged vows. It was so beautiful.
The Bonde We were told that our original pop song (and public service video) "Behind The Lies" created this year to help bring awareness about FGM is slated to be presented at a conference in Nigeria Addressing the Sexual Vulnerability of Young Women in Africa. The Bonde We hit the road to sing at this very cool private event. Lauriel's guitar is so heavy we keep taking turns carrying it. We finally strapped it to a cart but it keeps flipping over. We need a roadie!
