FUEL With the holidays coming up, we know everyone is in a mad panic to get their schedules in order. We just want everyone to keep in mind that the holidays isn't a time to forget the environmental impact we have on the world.

Check out this great slideshow highlighting the worst environmental offenses of the holiday season. Are you guilty of some of these?

It has been twenty years now since GM unveiled its Impact electric concept, which ultimately led to the EV1 electric car. Not everybody heard about the EV1 though, because it was confined mostly to California on limited leasing agreements. We all know how the EV1 turned out.

Electricity is so much more important in our daily lives than oil or coal...besides the universe and our bodies function on electricity as well, so why not place a greater emphasis as our system of energy?....blackout affect us much more than fuel out, so lets get crackin' on renewable energy....

FUEL So this morning I was reading comments from yesterday's post and came across a comment left by Curtis Barrett about an algae fueled Lamborghini. It give me a few chuckles thinking about the idea, but then I got to browsing the web and came across this little article. Looks like we can expect to see Curtis's dream become reality in less than a decade.

gas2.org
Lamborghini is known for many things; sexy sounding V12 engines, outrageous, egregious bodykits, and low fuel efficiency (often in the single digits). But a hybrid?

FUEL It's Monday and that means it's time to get back to the grind. We all know Monday's can be a drag so here's a quick little video to get the week started. Photographer Edward Burtynsky recently released a piece of work chronicling the footprints of oil through modern society. The images are stunning to say the least an...d it translates as a visual realization of the prices we pay for society's dependence on oil. Also, the bit at the end on stockholm's traffic system is rather interesting. Just ignore the part about it being an IBM ad.
