On the 24th October 2009, 70 Friends gathered in Bull Street Meeting House, Birmingham to premier Child of Light and celebrate the life of Jenny Fishpool.
Child of Light is an original sequence of songs and readings, with music by Tony Biggin and words by Alec Davidson.

Rachel I really enjoyed singing Tony Biggin's "Child of Light" yesterday, and Jenny Fishpool's memorial service was very moving. It was good to catch up with people I hadn't seen for several years...

We have a limited number of £10 places available for people who cant afford the full fee for this exciting Quaker event.

Come and join us for a weekend of music, singing and joyful noise making!
No experience necessary, newcomers especially welcome!
We will be basing our weekend around whatever people want to sing, and are aiming for a varied programme of modern and spiritual songs.
Above all, this weekend offers an opportunity to meet like-minded musical people, make new friends, and have fun!Read More
