ABOUT THE PROJECT. . .
Women’s Arts Weekend is a unique chance to get together with others to creatively explore what it is to be a woman today. In an inspiring setting in the Derbyshire countryside, the weekend can offer time to reflect, to learn new ...skills and get arty!
There will be a wide variety of activities including drawing, painting, drama, craft workshops and more... absolutely no experience necessary!
Workshops may include such things as wicker-basket making, creative therapies, felting, co-operative/group art, drama games and exercises, creative writing, batik and discussion.
How to apply: Please fill in the form, cut it off (keeping the rest for your information) and return it, with a £30 deposit, or the full fee to:

A project offering the opportunity to explore the environment through creative workshops, discussions, and imaginative exploration techniques!
We'll be walking, drawing, creating, moving and exploring the landscape, and incorporating many different art forms.
Come along to develop your awareness of enviornmental and spi...ritual issues in a fun, imaginative, creative and supportive environment!
We'll be staying in environmentally sustainable accommodation - we're hoping for Yurts!

On the 24th October 2009, 70 Friends gathered in Bull Street Meeting House, Birmingham to premier Child of Light and celebrate the life of Jenny Fishpool.
Child of Light is an original sequence of songs and readings, with music by Tony Biggin and words by Alec Davidson.

Rachel I really enjoyed singing Tony Biggin's "Child of Light" yesterday, and Jenny Fishpool's memorial service was very moving. It was good to catch up with people I hadn't seen for several years...
