The Moth

The Moth Moth founder George Dawes Green's novel "Ravens" has been chosen by Publisher's Weekly as one of the Best Books of 2009: http://www.publishersweekly.com/article/CA6704595.html

Source: www.publishersweekly.com
It's almost Thanksgiving, which is the beginning of the end of another year, and for us at PW that means our annual best books list. From more than 50,000 volumes, we valiantly set out to choose 100, and this year we've upped the ante with a top 10 list.

OK, for people who have read this, how "spiritually devastating" is the ending, really? I'm sensitive to these things, should I skip this one?

Jody, I think you will do yourself a "spiritual" disservice by *not* reading this thrilling book. Yes, I have read it. Highly recommend.

if there's anything to learn from the moth, it's that it's more the teller and the telling than the story. open your mind and enjoy it...

The Moth In LA, Anne Falangan used to dress up as Princess Jasmine and, in NYC, newbie Kevin Mc Aulifte made big efforts to dress up as a historical character. Unfortunately for them, their disguises weren't so successful. Fortunately for them, their stories won the SLAMs last night. Congratulations!
