
The Mountain Fund Our fall medical trek is now finished. Over 20 medical people saw over 1200 patients in Rasuwa and gave them free care and meds.

The Mountain Fund is doing key work at the birthing center that we are opening in Rasuwa District, Nepal - it will be the only one in the area and will serve over 8,000 women. The Mountain Fund The Ward Nine's children center used to care for 12-15 children who came daily while their parents worked. But it did not have the funding to provide lunch to kids who often did not get enough to eat at home. The Mountain Fund has started a hot lunch program, and attendance at the center has now increased to 29 children daily, with food for each of them. The full story here.
