It was held August 6th in Rodanthe, and is a tribute to all the men and women, past and present, who serve protecting the lives of the public. A fun family day for kids and adults alike. Amie Fant Thomson I'm wondering if I can get some help here. I am a San Diego native living in Fredericksburg, VA and missing the beach terribly. I am planning a week long vacation next summer (August) and would like to know the best Outer Banks location. They all look so beautiful I don't know what to pick! My wants: family friend......ly and quiet (no party places), beach front house or cottage, good family local attractions, some great places to eat. Thanks :)

Charter fishing on the Seaducer out of Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. The fish are yellow fin tuna and a limit of 18. It was November 21 and that time of the year was typical weather north wind about 15 to 20 making it good fishing.
