I also enjoy the mix of topics, but with an emphasis on public speaking and interpersonal communication. It would be nice to have an occasional look at selling your ideas to people too.

I remember that the keynote speaker at my college graduation ceremony held up a box of Corn Flakes during his speech. It was a bit odd at the time, but I'll never forget it!
As for Jill Bolte Taylor's TED speech, interestingly enough the most memorable thing for me a year or so after watching it was not the brain prop, but the genuine emotion she exhibited during the speech.

Hello, Ms. Marshall, I am a current junior in college and preparing for the searching for careers and internships before or upon graduation. So at the moment, I most excited to create business cards to hand to the many employers I happen to come across in career fairs, information sessions, or meet randomly during the ...day. What is the best information to add to a business card for upcoming graduates? Besides the obvious of contact information, would profile pages such as Facebook and Linkedin be appropriate. Should the design of the card be closely related to the field of interest? How much is too much information and how much is too little? I came to this while listening to your podcast over social media profile updates as related to the job search which I am so glad you covered.Read More
