Scotland Yard Gospel Choir Erik Roldan of Think Pink Radio, a great friend of SYGC, asked me to contribute a top ten list to his blog. Thank you to Erik for suggesting such a great topic and, as always, for the support. xo mary

On September 24th, my band was in a horrific van accident. We all survived, but some of us were left with injuries which have greatly affected our lives. After spending time with a wheelchair and a walker, I left the hospital & have spent the past two months walking with a cane.

Scotland Yard Gospel Choir Dero names The Scotland Yard Gospel Choir's '... and the horse you rode in on' as one of his favorite records of 2009:

blogs.suntimes.com
For all of the talk in recent years of the death of the album as digital distribution has become the norm and every listener is now their own DJ and programmer, the album nonetheless remains the dominant way we measure a musician's creativity.

Oh no!!!!! OMG! I am so happy to hear that you are all still alive but saddened that you are having to go through this.

Last night, we had other plans, but I just happened to click "tours you will like" on Pandora and there you were - starting to play right then. I checked your Web site to confirm. We literally dropped what we were doing for the ... See Morenight and ran out the door to the gig. We kept going "OMG, they're here!"
You had played here four years ago and we still say it was one of the best nights we have ever had - you were a complete surprise of awesomeness!!! he reason I am telling you this is because - being a performer myself - I think you might like to know that we love you!!!! Keep getting better and, again, I am really sorry I didn't know about your ordeal. I am now following you on Twitter and found your fan page so I can stay in better touch with your recovery.
