OK- This is going to be amazing! First of all, this performance takes place in Le Petit: one of the oldest theatres in the country, and, yes, the theatre's haunted! It's located directly across the street from St. Louis Cathedral in the French Quarter.
Even more special is the fact that John Boutte will be opening th...e show. For those of you who don't know him, what can I say?-- John is my favorite singer in New Orleans-hands down! He is like a male, Nina Simone. Just an amazing, soulful artist. He'll be playing a 45 minute set to open the show.Read More

This is sort of a dream come true for me. When I first came to New Orleans I saw Germain Bazzle (w/ Brian Blade) play in this theatre during Jazz Fest, and was blown away. Not only by the actual performance, but by how dynamic they sounded in a theatre. The acoustics are great, and the theatre is in the Contemporary ...Arts Center- so you pretty much have to walk thru a series of hanging glass art installations to get there- like something out of a frozen dream.
