During September, the Thomaston-Upson Arts Council (TUAC), located on the courthouse square, is hosting the third annual “Personal Best” photography exhibit by the West Central Georgia Shutterbugs, a group that was formed in January 2006 and now has 50 members from Upson and five surrounding counties. The exhibit inclu...des 45 photos by 23 of the members. Many of the photographic images, along with smaller items such as greeting cards, are available for purchase. The public is invited to attend an opening reception Tuesday, September 8th, from 6-8 p.m., to meet the photographers, enjoy their work, and cast their vote for the “People’s Choice” award, which will be announced at 8 p.m. The exhibit may also be viewed during TUAC’s regular business hours: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10-5, and Wednesday 10-Noon.
