Tim James We are carefully watching and preparing for Hurrican Ida to make landfall. My wife, Angela and I have you in our prayers. We hope this storm's impact is minimal. Once the storm passes, we'll roll up our sleeves and pull our communities back together. http://tinyurl.com/ybofk58

Like many good folk in Alabama, I have personally experienced losses from severe hurricanes and tropical storms battering Alabama’s Gulf Coast. These natural disasters not only throw our families into emotional crisis but they also add enormous financial burdens to each of us. ...

Man, I really hope you win. My sister really liked the it when I told her you wanted to help get DSL out to Swanner Bridge. That dish is way too expensive. I really do hope you win for other reasons too. Alabama needs some ethics.

Tim James Auburn's gubernatorial forum provided an excellent opportunity to take our message for less government and greater accountability to the people of East Alabama. It was so good to see many friends among the nearly 400 people there. http://tinyurl.com/ybffb4r

Tim James Tonight, most AL gubernatorial candidates meet at Auburn's Student Center to answer questions on the minds of the voters. Thanks to sponsors, the League of Women Voters of East Alabama and the Chambers of Commerce of Auburn and Opelika. The event is hosted by the Center for Governmental Services, a division of Auburn University Outreach. Visit my website and see where I stand on the issues. Leave me a comment.

Tim James We must address tort
reform. Many physicians have opted to practice in metropolitan areas
versus
small towns due in large part to high costs for medical malpractice
insurance.
Many rural counties in Alabama suffer from a shortage of doctors and
health
care professionals. The problem will worsen if we don’t act. Leave me
a comment on my web site. I want to know what you think.

The Senate Finance Committee today voted to send a liberal-approved health care bill to the floor of the U.S. Senate. Whether or not it passes and reaches Barack Obama’s desk to be signed into law this bill is a Trojan horse that will create more problems than it pretends to solve.
Tim James

Tim James There are things we can do to improve health care in Alabama and the
country. We need medical savings accounts and no frills health
insurance plans. Small businesses and individuals should be able to
aggregate. Read what I say about Making common sense out of health
care reform in Alabama and leave me a comment on my web site.

Tim James The people of Alabama are concerned about the integrity of the family
unit. The next Governor of Alabama must take seriously the
responsibility of defending family values. Read what I say about home
schooling. Leave me a comment on my web site. Your opinion is
important to me. http://tinyurl.com/yz52ajh

Many people in Alabama and across America today are concerned as never before about the integrity of the family. The next Governor of Alabama must take seriously the responsibility of defending family values during this era of social upheaval and judicial activism.

I'll have to look up laws concerning Home Schooling in Alabama. I'm currently working on a Bachelors in English but I don't want to work in public schools. I'm wondering if I can join a home-schooling community, each English and be compensated.
