Grant Drummond You guys have nice dry desert trails with rocks, cactus and the odd mountain lion to contend with - we get hill walkers that dont get out of your way, cold weather, mud, rain and trails that a virtually unridable !! Hi Miguel! We don't think there will be a problem running the Nokon system, but too be completely honest, no one here has tried. The opening for the rear derailleur and rear brake is 10mm. As most shift housing is 4mm thick and brake hose/housing is 5mm there's plenty of room. The front derailleur cable opening is 6mm. The other consideration is that you will have to use full length housing, so make sure you have enough of the beaded pieces.

Grant Drummond I would like to thank Santa's little Elves at Bikelab for my lovely new Fireline. Unfortunately, the weather and the trails were a bit testing for it's first outing but it seemed to like the unscheduled trip into some foliage !! Winter riding is not for the faint hearted but the bike rules !
