This is sick, but for whatever it's worth, I work with many many realtors, and I know for a fact that not one of them would EVER do anything like this, and it's not only because of the law, but it's because they don't feel that way!! I want to believe this is rare...it always amazes me that this kind of ignorant behavior is still out there--we want to belive we've come farther than this.....sad.

I had a deal years ago in Bethlehem ... a listing agent asked me about my buyers' race ... I refused to answer ... he "knew" the answer because a neighbor told him ... the contract was refused ... I called the broker ... I was so impressed ... she was on that case in a minute ... took over the listing ... negotiated the sale herself ... the agent found another office to hang his license ... she did all that via telephone from her digs at a conference out of town.
