Tryon Palace Historic Sites and Gardens Friday, October 10 Nostalgia author AlexSandra "Sandy Lynn" Lett of Sanford, who has captured the life and times of rural North Carolina through her Timeless series of books, will be at the Tryon Palace Museum Shop on Saturday, October 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.. Lett will answer questions about writing and autograph copies of her books and the audio CD set.

Tryon Palace Historic Sites and Gardens The gardens at Tryon Palace look great right now filled with fluttering butterflies getting the last taste of summer. Over 50 types of flowering plants are currently in bloom, not to mention all the berries which are forming. So come join our resident cat and visit the gardens for free on Oct 4, from 1-6pm.

Or come to our Heritage Plant Sale on Oct 9 & 10, from 9am to 5pm and add some plants to your own garden!

It's always a beautiful time of the year in the Tryon Palace Historic Sites gardens, but fall is one of our favorite seasons. Come by on Sunday October 4 for first Sunday in the Gardens, when the gardens of Tryon Palace are open free to the publi...c to enjoy all the flowers. (Interior tours require the purchase of a ticket.)
