The Martin Luther King Jr service day project theme is: "A Day on NOT a Day OFF!"
In 2009:
- Students committed more than 550 hours of service on MLK Day, by working on pre-arranged community projects
- All students took the “MLK Non-violence Pledge.”
- More than half of the st...udents pledged an additional 50 hours of community service.
In 2010:
- 2010 goal is 125 + student/faculty/community volunteers.
- 2010 goal is 150 additional hours of community service.

University of Central Missouri Congrats to #5 Jennies volleyball...they are the outright MIAA Champs for the first time since 2000! The Jens defeated #22 UNO 3-2 Friday night in Omaha. Jens finish regular season 32-4, 18-2 MIAA. Jens hope to hear Sunday night that they will host the NCAA South Central Region Tournament next Thursday through Saturday at the Multi.
