UMKC University Libraries The Blue Roo has taken up residence with Michael Brown. Some may see Michael as underappreciated, because he spends much of his time toiling away in the confines of the Receiving Room. But when he does get out to the other parts of the library, he always has a smile and good word for everybody. Neither snow nor rain no...r heat nor gloom of morning stays this courier from the swift completion of his appointed rounds to Hospital Hill and to various locations around Miller Nichols to pick up and deliver mail. He’s also currently a member of the Staff Development Committee, and so he’s an important resource for the University Libraries’ various parties and celebrations. Congratulation's and thank you Michael!

Mark Mattison my favorite quote from the article: “Now, in the fourth generation, we’re really seeing the library as a place to connect, collaborate, learn, and really synthesize all four of those roles together,” said Luce. “How do you do that without bricks and mortar?” ------ What do YOU think?
