University of Michigan School of Public Health Hello Mahesh-You may transfer up to 6 credits from an outside institution. If you were admitted to UofM last year and chose to attend a different institution and would like to transfer back to Michigan-you will be required to re-submit an application for Fall 09 consideration. Please feel free to contact me and we can discuss this in more detail-Elena Chesney: sph.inquiries@umich.edu

Mahesh Sadhnani

Mahesh Sadhnani I was accepted at Univ of Michigan SPH in Fall last year. Although, I couldn't attend the school then, I am still eager to join Univ of Michigan. I am currently doing my MPH at Western Kentucky University and have certain state level posters and oral presentations to my credit. I wanted to ask you, can I take transfer and be eligible for funding? I cannot attend the school, if I am not funded. So, any assistantships available would be of great help

Nick Foy

Nick Foy Hello everyone. My name is Nick and I would like to talk to any current students in the publich health program to see what the program is like because I am seriously considering applying to the prgram for the 2010 class. I have always wanted to get a degree from the university of Michigan also known as "the harvrd of the West." I have not taken my GRE's yet and my major at Virginia Tech was psychology and pre-med. I was a social worker for two years and recently withdrew from medical school due to the fact it was not what I wanted and this option seems more of a logical choice for a medical career for myself. My email is foy65@vt.edu and if any current students want to facebook that would be great. Go blue!
