This movie was the first place I ever had anyone explain what was happening to my body. I have symptoms similar to Mandy and it's very frightening when no ER doc, no home health nurse, NO one knows what is happening to you, or how to help.

Apart form the subject matter of the film, which may or may not not be of interest to the general public, it was a an excellent filnm and well worth watching by anyone,

This SHOULD be of interest to the general public. This could be their story, and if they see this film, they will understand that... and understand what they will be up against if they do acquire Lyme disease or the other tick-borne diseases.

On days like that (bad Lyme flare-up days) I wish all the Infectious Disease Doctors in the world had been bit by a tiny tick. Shame on me.....

I think we all wish the same thing...but only on the bad infectious disease doc's :)

Until then, buy a bunch of DVDs... The cost is insignificant if it helps just ONE person. We have 5 copies that we've been sharing and the more people that we tell about it, the more people want to see it. We've shared them with friends, family, doctors, nurses,... Even the guys who mow the lawn!! My wife has even invited the moms from the playground.

You never know what will happen or how far it will go... The owner of the lawn-care company wants all of his workers to see it. The visiting nurse is going to buy an educational copy to use as a training aid. Imagine how many people can be educated just by you!

Will this be showing all over the nation?????? How do I find out Carmel? You know I want to know more!!!!

You know, last night I had an epiphany. There are celebrities who admit they have Lyme, but there's no real advocate that's step up. President Bush was even diagnosed with Lyme. You think he would have clarified the medical guidelines
and insurance coverages. The most powerful man in the world at the time had Lyme and shrugged.

There are so many people suffering daily from the effects of chronic lyme that to say it doesn't exist is ridiculous!!!

This movie will undoubtedly change the lives of perhaps millions. Thanks to all who paricipated in it! Let's all hope for 'best documentary'!

How I wish I could get down to San Diego from PDX to see it!! Too sick to make it right now but rooting for the filmmakers, the producers and all those in the midst of this terrible struggle!

Wish that movie was playing in Utah! I've suspected Lyme for years and it hurts every part of my body!! Many suffer all over the world from this disease. Government must start listening. They will have too. Because guess what, you can't pay taxes if you are unable to work from this disease.

SHowed this film many times in Florida last winter. Every time many people showed up and all were moved by this story. IT is a great service to a community who is so naive about the dangers of lyme. Keep helping others out- talk about this, help people afflicted, go to support groups, or better yet, start one!

I hear ya... this is so complicated - most likely there cannot be just one protocol - however, there should be a standard starting point, and doctors who are smart enough to test and understand the co-infections - most drs are not even looking for the co-infections! right now, it seems like the only standard treatment is 4 weeks doxy... ... janet, i have had iv's but orals can work. it just takes longer. make sure you read the 2004 joseph burrascano article and note the symptoms for co infections. getting rid of co infections w/ orals first is the key! i was on iv rocephin for a year and it did nothing b/c i had bartonella, babesia and erlichiosis. i take 3 oral antibiotic, which target different infections, and a weekly bicillin shot to get into my brain. good luck.

I cried when I watched the dvd preview, just like watching my life. Years of being misdianosed and told I was crazy to being treated, getting better then worse then being told there is no more that can be done. I know am receiving treatment out of state, and I hope everyone sees this movie..because know one can understand life with Lymes unless you live it.

Great awareness movie, we fought the battle on Asberger's for years with one kid, and now Lyme with the other(27) . Its a long road.

it is impossible for anyone to imagine how awful this disease is, even watching the documentary.

my advice about treatment is to read Joseph Burrascano's 2004 article on lyme. THE TRICK IS TO KILL THE CO INFECTIONS! he lists them and their symptoms- blood tests are still not reliable- and the meds that kill them. every co infection requires different antibiotics or meds. so if your dr has just parked you on just one antibiotic( like rocephin), not all the bases will be covered. antibiotics need to be sustained at high enough levels!

about supplements, these are the basics- antioxidants, any supplement to correct a deficiency( iron, iodine, vitamin d are common), vitamin b, (vitamin c for epstien barr )vitamin d taken w/ omega 3's, detoxifiers, and binders to eliminate dying "bugs". ... Read More

the best diet is the alkaline diet. almost all the drs agree it is best for all chronic illnesses. also bacteria thrives on sugar - so cut out the sweets and simple carbs.

I had Hodgekin's Lymphoma when I was younger. It was easier to treat and quite honestly easier to live with than Lyme. At least doctors admitted I had issues when I had cancer. I can't tell you how many incorrect diagnoses I got for years until I met the right doctor that ran the right (CD 57) tests.
