Selina Humnycki Anyone else had this... where fitness and performance seem to take a leap forward? I just set 2 PB's in the 1/2 marathon just 6 wks apart, my bike sessions are now done about 6% faster (I'm forced indoors now by weather) and my swim times are also about 6% improved - and it happened all of a sudden - LOVE IT!

I would be really grateful if anyone can help me. I´m trying to find out who may have written a set of training levels guidelines, likely given out to US triathletes within the period 1992-1996. A short excerpt follows below.
´Swim Level Two
Examples- Aerobic
Intensity 1-2 mmol/l below LT,
HR 70-75% max. Level... of exertion: easy to moderate
RPE-2-4
Rests between repeats 05-15
Energy source- fats with marginal CHO ( carbohydrate) contribution
Example sets- long intervals with very short rests ( 3 x 800 w/15, 5 x
400 w10, 12 x 200 w5), continuous swims., sets with paddles and pullbouy with
easy effort.´
