Consul General Rubinstein acknowledged the efforts a...nd cooperation of the people of the Governorate of Salfeet, emphasizing that this new American Corner “symbolizes the commitment of the United States to continue building mutual understanding and cooperation between Americans and the Palestinian people.” American Corners are partnerships between U.S. embassies or consulates and local communities. They serve as a resource for residents of those local communities, offering access to information about American culture, society, and values, as well as information on educational opportunities in the United States. The American Corner in Salfeet, located in the Salfeet Municipal Library, is the third American Corner dedicated to working with the Palestinian people. The other two American Corners are located in Jericho and Gaza.

This is good...There are many Palestinians which are smart and interested n scientific projects but lack sources of support. The universities are working with minimum sources and need a lot of help and support. Such steps could encourage them but more work is needed.
