The article is well written. I find it interesting that the word evolution can mean so many things to so many people. As the article states, in order to have a thorough discussion on the topic the terminology needs to be understood so that everyone is on the same page. Very good article!

Everyone seems to think the dead shoot up straight to heaven or down to hell...But I think they are just Dead. If one went to Heaven or Hell, then their judgement is complete, and there would be no need for a future judgement. Yet its clear that there is a future judgement.

There would be no need of a resurrection if every person that died was either in Heaven or hell.

The Scriptures clearly warn against God's people looking to other peoples to see how they worship their gods and their celebrations. God says he does not want us to worship Him that way. So we certainly should not encourage our children or allow them to participate. That sends mixed messages to the child and shows it is ok to be non-committal towards God's word.

Mr Wiebe, I'm afraid that sarcasm does not endear people to listen to your reasoning.

God's Word is truth...it is the ONLY truth..and, the Old Testament IS God's Word. It was the only "bible" in existence when Christ walked the earth and is what He taught from. He condemned the Pharisees exactly because they created their own laws and used their own reasoning.

I'm sorry but your comparison between Halloween and the Feast of Tabernacles just does not "hold water." GOD commands that the Feast of Tabernacles be kept (in Lev. 23) and that it be kept for ALL generations. They are not "Jewish", or any man's days. God specifically says that they are HIS days...thus, making them Holy. Halloween is a day instituted and kept (as a tradition) by men. It is commanded by God to be kept nowhere in scripture. Only God can make a day Holy so there is a HUGE difference between the two and its like comparing apples to oranges.... Read More
