Universal Sports Well, he looks serious to me.

www.universalsports.com
After the Olympic results he posted in 2008, it was clear that Michael Phelps would have a bit of a letdown in 2009. Thanks to a bit of controversy -- some from Phelps' own doing and some from the suits worn by his competitors -- the Olympic champion is looking forward to starting anew in 2010.

Universal Sports I'm sure you've seen the clip by now if you weren't watching live... Should this match be replayed? Started over? Or should Ireland let it go?

www.universalsports.com
Ireland appealed to France and football authorities Thursday to replay their World Cup playoff in Paris after an obvious handball by Thierry Henry produced the winning goal.

Reviews!? No way. Leave soccer the way it is and continue to work on making the officials better. This was certainly a few bad calls in a row, but the the reviews in the NFL just slow the game down and take away more human element of sport.

Exactly! Football need not be Americanized. Having said that If any replay is instituted it will most likely be in the MLS first. Bad calls and bad reffs are all part of the game. Anything can happen. It makes the beautifull game even more exciting!

i am to the point where i would like to see what happens if athletes are allowed to take what ever they want. make it a pay for view. two events, the 100 meters and the 1500 meters. make the winnings big time money so they have an incentive to get really roided up. have them come out of the starting blocks like they do at horse races so no roid rage on each other. most would have heart attacks before finishing anyway. would be interesting!
