The New Theatre has celebrated its 40th birthday! Since 1969, the only completely student-run theatre in the country has been bringing you up to 15 shows a semester and provided a platform for generations of talented performers, directors, make-up artists, lighting technicians... the list goes on.

Thanks to everyone who came along to the St Ann's Allotment to plant trees as part of the BBC's Tree O'Clock event. 600,000 trees needed to be planted across the country in a single hour for the current world record attempt to be broken.

The NUS Women's Campaign has launched a survey exploring women students' experiences of violence, sexual assault and stalking. It's the first time this sort of research has been done so it's really important that as many responses as possible are gathered.
