Our family attended the ceremony today.....all i have to say is what an honor it was to be amongst all the wonderful people that have served our counrty and allowed us to be free. Thank you for your service does not even being to say enough.

Um....HELL NO! Why would I want to put myself thru more hell? I work for myself...and I know my boss wont give me a raise if I go to grad school! My clients dont care that I have a BA, BS or MBA, all they care is that I am a CPA and can battle the IRS when need be! But...it may work for others...and UW is a great school...Go Huskies!

I am in grad school now at UW and it is very expensive. An extra student loan of $15,000- all for an M. Ed. At least I will make 5,000-7,000 more a year, but still a lot of money, especially for a teacher. That's why we go into teaching though-to make the big bucks :)

I am a graduate of the History Dept. with a B.A. in History and a minor in Music but I fondly remember my days in Seattle in the early 70's when I transferred from UCLA. I live in Albuquerque, NM now and like it very much. I remember the swim coach Earl Ellis and my music prof. Walter Welke who taught me the clarinet.
