As a project's design evolves, you will see how increasingly complex layers of information are added in a very understandable, common-sense way. The workshop will look at the stages of design development and creation of layers individually to make these very crowded drawings become clear.

Reading Construction Drawings will teach you how to use standard terms, symbols, and location systems—set up from the start of the design process—to navigate the density of lines and notes found in construction drawings and enable you to get to, and understand, the information you need. Understanding these graphic systems will enable you to find the answers you need in a set of drawings which can number in the hundreds of sheets.

This new ULI course will provide a conceptual framework to effectively prepare for and participate in real estate workouts and related negotiations. Each workout situation is unique, but all workout situations require the ability to negotiate effectively.
