The first jewel in the men's Vans Triple Crown is held at Haleiwa Beach Park. When the waves are up, Haleiwa can be a heavy, fast wave that offers the rider every kind of maneuver. The inside “Toilet Bowl” section is famous for its grinding barrels and wringing wipeouts.
