As a resident of Pennsylvania, maybe this affects me more so than the vast majority of the interweb, but the fact that there is a consorted effort to create a video game industry based in Philadelphia is something that makes me very excited.

VGI Philadelphia had an extra game filled weekend this weekend. Friday was the IGDA meeting and then Sunday Video Games Live was in town. Great to see everyone out at these events!

Laurence Grant Great initiative. We definitely need more game development in the Philly area. As an independent game developer myself in philly, I often feel alone and isolated due to the lack of any big name gaming companies in the area. It’s great that you are trying to spread the word and I hope we can all help.
