Lake Champlain Bridge between Addison and Crown Point, N.Y. - "The New York State Department of Transportation
shut down the bridge Oct. 16 after discovering serious problems with at
least two concrete piers supporting the bridge. DOT officials said the
problem is so bad the bridge is in danger of collapse."
