Ben Mahoney did a fantastic wedding video for my husband and I at our wedding. His energy is great, he was on-time, prepared and worked tirelessly to capture the whole day for us. He encouraged us to have fun with the wedding day shoot and continually worked to make sure we had great video footage. Ben also has extensive music knowledge and is able to source an amazing selection of songs for our video.
Ben has shot and edited several fashion videos for my website and all have turned out excellent.
Ben Mahoney is easy to work with and I would recommend him and his associates to anyone who is looking for a wedding videgrapher or other kind of video.

Ben Mahoney Productions. Video that rocks. is simply that. There is no other title that could say it better. Ben agreed to shoot my wedding, and I have never been happier with a decision that I made for my wedding day, except maybe my groom. Ben was such a pleasure to work with on my big day, with his wonderful personality he made the very nervous bride relax. Ben is so personable, and so professional at the same time, it is hard to find that combination with the vendors out there.
Ben captured all of the fantastic moments of the day and artistically arranged them into the most phenominal video. My family who has seen many wedding videos made a point to mention that my video was the best that they had ever seen.
There are so many decisions to make when planning your wedding, it is completely overwhelming. To any bride out there who wants only the best- my only suggestion is to hire Ben from Mahoney Productions to capture the many memories you will soon forget with the craziness of the day.

I am so excited to have the opportunity to endorse Ben. He was phenomenal! Not only did he travel to Ann Arbor to shoot our wedding, but he did an engagement video shoot in Chicago just for fun!:)
He went way above and beyond what we paid him for and created a masterpiece video of our wedding that we will cherish forever. If I had to decide between a photographer or a videographer, I would choose the videographer hands down, and Ben would be my guy. His creativity in editing far out-weighed the competition that we interviewed and watched online.
Every person who has watched our video has had tears in their eyes from the very beginning because of Ben's fantastic editing. I can't rave about him enough and am so thankful to have found him for our wedding day.

In case this recommendation doesn't convince you to use him for your next videographer needs... I'm happy to give you more reasons over the phone as to why you should hire Ben.

Without a doubt, the best decision I made for planning my wedding day was hiring Ben Mahoney Productions! As all the preparations got more daunting, each planning session I had with Ben got me so pumped up all over again! Ben and his crew were so accommodating and so creative-- I was utterly stress-free on my wedding day! Everyone on his team were professional, timely, very talented, and all around enjoyable. Stephanie worked her magic with my bridesmaids' hair-- I only wish I had hired her for my own!
Not only was I impressed with BMP on the day of the wedding, the memories that they have gracefully and uniquely put together through pictures and video are now mine to revisit always. Ben is a true artist. He takes great pride in what he does, and it shows. After seeing the end result, I can't even count the number of times I've heard, "Wow. I wish I had them at my wedding."
I would absolutely recommend Ben and BMP to anyone in need of wedding services!

As a producer I've worked with Ben on both large-scale professional projects as well as small personal projects and he excels at both. Ben has a keen eye for composition and can make an otherwise simple shot look purely amazing. He has a very pleasant demeanor and I've never seen him frazzled even under the most stressful situations. I met Ben over year ago shooting a wedding and we was amazing,easy to work with,tons of great ideas and fun. I recently sent him my wedding video of over 10 years ago, pretty bad shape, and he worked on it and it turned out amazing, The editing and music was impressive, I would reccomend Ben Mahoney Productions to any one, you won't be dissapointed!!

I met Ben while he was shooting a friend's wedding. I was her day-of-coordinator and, as soon as I met Ben, I knew I would not have anything to worry about with his shooting. He is a total pro. He gets in for the right shot without being at all intrusive. So many times, I've been to weddings where the focus becomes the cameras instead of the wedding. Not with Ben. After seeing the gorgeous footage that he got and the even more fantastic way he edited it together to tell their story, I knew that we had to have him shoot a corporate event that I was working on. It was kind of last-minute and pretty involved. Ben was a true joy to work with though. He was professional, calm, positive and went above-and-beyond to do what he could to help us get the footage we needed. If I ever need another videographer in Chicago, Ben would be my go-to guy.

I had decided that I was not having a wedding video done, because I wanted no part of the bad visual effects that are all too common with this industry. Then I came across Ben’s work on you tube and it totally changed my mind. Ben’s work is not your typical wedding video. He is a true cinematographer. He has a great eye and understands angles and camera movement. We were recently showing our wedding video to a family member and I felt like I was watching a movie. Everyone who has seen it has been blown away so far. Not only is his work amazing, but Ben himself is so great to work with. He’s fun, easy going and totally makes you feel comfortable in from of the camera. I knew that I was going to book him just from watching samples of his work, but once I met him in person with my husband we had absolutely no doubt that he was the one we wanted capturing our day. I think the thing that makes him stand out is that he’s an artist, and takes tremendous pride in his shooting/editing. He’s not just trying to bang out one video after another, he tries to make each one something that could be a portfolio piece for him.

On a side note: After our wedding day, we took place in a trash the dress shoot. Stephanie, Ben’s associate from Hair That Rocks was the stylist and she did a great job. She created a great up-do, then for later in the day restyled my hair in a totally different ‘down’ look.
