Saint Louis Lampworkers Society Presents the 9th Annual Glass Galore
The Saint Louis Lampworker's Society will be hosting Glass Galore on September 26th, 2009 at the Kirkwood Community Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
One-of-a-kind works of art, these handmade goodies can be used in a variety of applications: knitting, we...aving, sewing and jewelry making. In addition to beads, the artists will be featuring glass buttons and fused plates. Several jewelry and lampwork suppliers will also be on hand.
View a lampworking demonstration video, sign up for various classes and win door prizes, which will be awarded throughout the day!
This event is family-friendly. Admission is $2 and all fees collected will be donated to St. Martha's Hall, a shelter for battered women.
