Jazz Festival

The longest running of the city's lakefront music festivals. For the past 30 years, the Chicago Jazz Festival has been a Labor Day weekend tradition. The festival celebrates the city's rich Jazz heritage and showcases the diverse talent of local, national and international musicians, with several different genres of jazz music represented throughout the celebration, the festival attracts both locals as well as tourists from around the world.

47th Invitational Fine Art Exhibition

Artists will display their works in various mediums including photography, watercolors, pastels, acrylics, oil, sculpture and mixed media. The ambiance is breathtaking. Stroll the gallery set amidst the beautiful park-like grounds of Oakbrook Center, and see why it is continuously ranked as one of the best art shows in the country.
39th Annual Septemberfest

Village of Schaumburg
Featuring carnival, Taste of Schaumburg, Miss September Fest, Not-for-Profit Day, entertainment on three stages, arts and crafts show with 250 booths, fireworks and bingo.
61st Annual Jubilee Days Festival

Downtown Zion
The Jubilee Days Festival is an annual event held over the Labor Day weekend. With its origins as a celebration of the harvest and God's blessings on the Community, the Festival as evolved into Zion's celebration of its unique heritage. Arts and crafts, food booths, Civil War Battle, Battle of the Bands, Parade and Fireworks Display.

Downtown Frankfort
Each year over Labor Day weekend, over 250,000 visitors flock to the charming Village of Frankfort to enjoy the Frankfort Fall Festival. With over 300 participating artisans and unlimited entertainment and food options the festival continues to thrive and grow. The Festival has received continued recognition for the "Best Shows in the United States" by Sunshine Artist Magazine.

Long Grove Historic Village, Long Grove
The celebration of all things Irish kicks off three fun-filled days of music dance food and fun in historic downtown Long Grove. Live performances throughout the event feature well known Irish musicians as well as Irish step dancing from the area's finest dancing schools.

This Labor Day Sunday event is the biggest event the Oak Forest Park District holds. Activities include live bands music food beverages booth games kiddie rides raffles bean bag water balloon tournaments and much more!
Fox Valley Folk Music & Storytelling Festival

The Fox Valley Folk Music & Storytelling Festival will be held Labor Day Weekend at Island Park in Geneva. Eight stage areas present concerts, hands-on workshops, topical song & story workshops, dance, vocal & instrument classes and special things for the kids.
