VulpesVulpes is distinguished by their simple melodies laden with an emotional tangle of vocals. Their sound is both classic and sexy, drawing on influences from traditional orchestras to hip-hop and soul. Songs like "So Bad" and "Inevitable Instances" exude a musical maturity reminiscent of 1960s soul, while other tracks, such as "Playing With Fire" and "Obsession" display lead singer Tanya Lam's signature vocals intertwining with haunting and graceful violin lines provided by Megan Faye.

VulpesVulpes established in the summer of 2008 and have had an explosive entrance into the music scene with their suspenseful live show. The group has been attracting a loyal and growing fan base playing several New York City and Long Island clubs as well as radio shows and showcases in Florida, Northern Virginia and Pennsylvania. VulpesVulpes recently released their first full band EP engineered by Kenny Lienhardt of the Bowery Ballroom (New York's finest Soundman).
