Your form reply to my email says "While many of our
loyal supporters may understand our programming schedule and what
genres air when, most other radio listeners follow single formats: talk
radio, rock, oldies, etc." Your "loyal supporters" are asking that you
keep Folk and Blues programming because we do know where to fi...nd it.
Folk and Blues supporters will be sure that new listeners can find the
programs if you continue. If you don't reconsider, those same
supporters will be sure that new listeners find and support those other
stations you mention in your reply to Barbara.
Please reverse this decision. You have 1,700 fans here. There are 800
fans on the Facebook site asking you to keep folk and blues programming.Read More

Barbara Gavin I don't get it. If the new 99.5 FM will be *all classical* -- doesn't that leave more room on 89.5 for folk, jazz and (especially) blues? This member was very disappointed to learn that Brendan Hogan's great Saturday show was going to be discontinued.
