WGME CBS 13 Volunteers Work to Feed Mainers
At a time when people are planning their Thanksgiving feasts, volunteers in South Portland worked Saturday to make sure all Maine families have food to put on their tables even in the midst of a tough economy.The Good Shepherd Food Bank held its stuff-the-truck food drive at the Maine Mall.

WGME CBS 13 Inmate Bites Jail Guard
An inmate at the Cumberland County Jail is facing assault charges, accused of attacking a guard. The sheriff's department says Shaun McFarlin was being taken back to jail after a court hearing, when he bit deputy Mary Sorrels on the hand.Police say McFarlin wouldn't let go, and another guard used a taser on him to subdue him.

Craig Miller Wgme Spent the day putting up xmas lights outside. Why is it the lights always work when I put them away for the season but never seem to work when I take them out again! Anyone else spend the day putting up their holiday decorations?

Androscoggin County officials have released a second surveillance video that appears to show a jail supervisor abusing a co-worker. This incident and another happened back in August, and led to the firing of one employee, the suspension of another, and the resignation of a third. ...

Evans Boston Wgme FINAL SCORE: DIRIGO 37, FOXCROFT 20 - The Cougars are Class C State Champs! Nic Crutchfield led Dirigo to an impressive win and an undefeated season. A huge crowd for the Class C game was rewarded with an entertaining ball game.
Evans Boston Wgme End of the 3rd Quarter - Dirigo leads Foxcroft, 30-20. Eric Crutchfield hit Spencer Ross on a 19 yard TD to give the Cougars a 10 point advantage. A much more low-scoring quarter than the first half!
Evans Boston Wgme Halftime at Fitzpatrick - Dirigo leads Foxcroft, 24-20. Cody Chaisson pounded in a 2 yard TD run, giving the Cougars the lead. Eric Bolduc booted a 25 yard field goal to give Dirigo a 4 point lead.

Evans Boston Wgme Class C State Finals - End of 1st Quarter - Dirigo and Foxcroft are tied, 14-14. This is going to be a shootout! Dirigo QB Nic Crutchfield already has two passes of more than 70 yards, including a 74 yard TD bomb.
Evans Boston Wgme FINAL SCORE - WINDHAM 35, BANGOR 21. The Eagles hang on for their first ever state title! Jack Mallis scored his 4th touchdown of the day early in the 4th to put the game away. Bangor finishes the season 11-1.
