West Fairlee Volunteer Fire Department The West Fairlee Volunteer Fired Department participated in the Cheslea Fire Department's 125 anniversary celebration on June 25 2009. Then 6 members of the of our Department took part in the Fireman's Muster (competition). We didn't prepare like some of the other Departments. We didn't have crews for each event lik...e some of the other Departments (our 6-man team participated in ALL of the events). We had the oldest team. We didn't place -- but we sure showed them what a REAL Department functions like!
