West Philly Hybrid X Team There was only one downside to the day. Drexel University donated 15 computers to the Auto Academy, but we don't have tables to put them on or chairs for the students to sit on while they use them. The EVX will ride to the rescue and purchase the damn tables and chairs. Thanks to all our supporters we're in a position ...to make an investment that the School District is unwilling to make.

West Philly Hybrid X Team The Auto Academy is on the east side of Hanson Street. An apartment house dumpster is on the west side. Mr. Bowie keeps our side spotless. The same cannot be said for the apartment management. Mayor Nutter arrived this morning to see the ugliness acorss the street.

West Philly Hybrid X Team After the speeches, the students gave the Mayor a tour of the shop and explained our technology. It was great. But that wasn't all. Drexel University donated 15 computers to the school. But, there's more. 2 University of Penn students came over to set up a tutoring schedule. Unbelievable.
West Philly Hybrid X Team Mayor Nutter came to visit the West Philly Hybrid X Team this morning! It was quite a day. Ms. R., Michael, Justin, Daniel Azeem and Simon delivered speeches about the Auto Academy, the Automtoive X Prize, our cars and education.
