Located 90 miles west of Boston in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains, Westfield State is a mid-sized, public liberal arts college with 5500 students, 4500 of whom are undergraduates. The attractive campus, distinguished by tall pines, is in a residential neighborhood, with 300-acre Stanley Park just across the street.

Westfield State was founded in 1838 by Horace Mann and is an education leader committed to providing every generation of students with a learning experience built on its founding principle as the first co-educational college in America to offer an education without barrier to race, creed or economic status. This spirit of innovative thinking and social responsibility is forged in a curriculum of liberal arts and professional studies that creates a vital community of engaged learners who become confident, capable individuals prepared for leadership and service to society.

Whether you're a student, staff, parent/family, friend or perspective student, please feel free to become a fan. On the page you will find various information as well as updates about the college. Look around and if you have any questions feel free to write on our wall or start a discussion on the discussion board.
