I took in a semi-feral Chihuahua Mom, her two tiny puppies and the even tinier two kittens SHE had rescued. It was wonderful.

Question...how do dogs swim without getting ear infections? I was always told that if they get "one drop" of water in their ear, like during a bath, they will get an infection. So what about swimming?

Elizabeth Jennings I just wanted to share this. I do not have a costume picture because on Holloween weekend, he took and passed a test to earn the Junior Herding Dog title. He had just turned seven months two days before the test. I am in awe of his ability and instincts.

Susan Goldberg Your timing is almost scary. I am in school to get my Diploma of Canine Science and Behavior, and our class was just discussing an aggression issue. I have heard about this, both positive & negative, and just asked for their input not more than 10 minutes ago. Most are certified behaviorists. I will keep you posted. Thanks for posting - very interesting

WoofReport.com Here's an interesting article about using pheromone products to calm your dog or cat and help with behavior issues. The Woof Reporters haven't tried these (products like DAP, Comfort Zone and others for dogs), but have you? If so, please share your experiences!

Used the Cesar Milan calming tonic on my terrier because of fer of thunder and it worked wonders. He sleeps thru most storms now. My kids use it on thier dogs for the car and it works for them. Stops nervousness and vomiting. Only side effect is constipation so you've got to be sure the dogs drink lots of water.I usually pour a capful over his food when I know a storm is coming.

WoofReport.com Be sure you've registered your dog's microchip and updated your address and phone number associated with it if it's changed! Dr. Nancy Kay reports on a recent article in Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association that shows human error is to blame when the microchip system fails. Read all the details below.
