I realize this story might sound strange to you, but it never occurred to the elderly Tanzanian pastor that God would understand him if he prayed in his mother language, Zanaki. He had only ever prayed in Tanzania's official language, Swahili.

Pray that God moves through Wycliffe literacy workers to teach more people how to read the Scriptures. Pray for protection of those in dangerous or hostile areas. Pray that there will be no data loss due to computer failure

Returning home to his village for the funeral of an uncle, this translator took with him the most recent draft of the death and resurrection of Jesus in Mark's Gospel (Mark 14-16). This passage was newly translated into Rangi—the language spoken in that area.
