is weird... i am getting updates on the sidebar for everyone except it
never shows my own updates or wall posts on the sidebar. It used to!
But now no more. Id like to see what comments friends make to my wall
posts. also i went to facebook site and noticed fan activity in my news feed that is also not showing on ...m...y sidebar. I'd really appreciate help guys cos there is no response from the support team yet. it is a brilliant add-on all told... just need this to work again thanks ;)Read More

Nhân Nguyễn I think Yoono may be affecting link colors and text decoration on web pages that I'm browsing (FF 3.5.x, OS X). Dotted underlines appear under certain text links on a page, which are also a different color than other links on the page. It appears that this is tied to the Discovery feature, which I unchecked in Widgets, but still appears to be running. Is there a way to turn this off?

Nhan - there are a couple way to turn the Discovery Links feature off. The easiest is probably to click on the magnifying glass icon in the lower right hand corner of your browser and deselect "Enable Discovery Links". If you have problems finding it, let us know!

William Hartwell When I attempt to post via the Yoono desktop browser, any time I backspace, instead of deleting characters in the edit window, the browser jumps between previously opened pages. Fix that problem, and I'd be willing to give up the sidebar in favor of the desktop.

Nhân Nguyễn More customizable sharing would be great. Currently, the Share button's resulting window doesn't allow for choosing what image on a page to use, editing of title, or editing of short description. But is this a Yoono limitation, or a Shareaholic limitation? The logo on the Share button appears to be Shareaholic.

This is something that is on our roadmap to support - in particular allowing selection of the thumbnail (we hadn't considered editing title and text preview but that could be possible too). We are not using Shareaholic actually, just the open sharing icon which Shareaholic uses as their logo.

Enjoying Yoono so far! I'm stacking it against Flock to see how they compare.

Three questions:

1. Is there a way to update IM statuses simultaneously, without updating Facebook, Twitter, etc.? I currently use Meebo for IM because I can update all IM statuses at once. Where I work, updating IM status might be "meeting a...t So-and-So's office" or "BRB", which isn't quite as meaningful for Facebook and Twitter updates.

2. Can one share via email? For instance, I'm at a page I like, and would like to email the link to a friend. I currently use another Firefox add-on to accomplish that (the add-on opens my Gmail and inserts the URL in the body, the page title in the subject line, etc.).

3. Is integrated RSS reading planned?Read More

Hey Nhan - gotcha on the IM status update. We actually used to work like that and users complained that they wanted to control each separately! That said, perhaps we can look at a way to be able to do both in a future enhancement. Thanks for the feedback.

Jeremy Childers Hey, i really enjoy the mozilla firefox app. However, my linked in facebook account keeps asking me to authorize it on facebook, even though i have done so multiple times. I have tried restarting facebook, and the toolbar. Any advice?

Hey Leroy, thanks for asking. We definitely want to do mobile versions of Yoono but probably still a ways off for us to be honest. Appreciate the interest and suggestion though as one of the things we'll need to do when we start on mobile is prioritize platforms (i.e. iPhone/Blackberry/Android/Java (J2ME), etc.).
