Misa Lobato I have the same sheet sander you do (the black and decker one), but it doesn't ever suck anything into the dust cup. Do you have that problem?

That's odd, I wonder if yours is defective or something. Ours definitely sucks nearly all the dust into that little bag in the back so perhaps you can get yours serviced or replaced (it's really handy to catch all the sawdust that it kicks up). Hope it helps!

Jessaca Gutierrez

Jessaca Gutierrez So we just saw our paint color for the first time this weekend in our new home (we close on the 1st!), and I freaked out. While I'm sure I will get used to it and need some time adjusting, what's your advice for people who are color weary and second thinking the color?

We ventured out in the rain on Saturday to go see our house. I was expecting to see counter tops and bathroom floors, instead I got lighting fixtures, paint, and a panic attack.Harvester is more sunny yellow than I was expecting. ...

Just repaint! Life is too short to hate your home's wall color. If you're really not sure about it and might just need to get used to it, of course you can move all your furniture in and live with it a while. But if it truly bothers you it might just be easier to repaint while there's no furniture in there rather than try to love it when it's just not doing it for you. Thank goodness paint is so cheap and you can totally tackle that DIY project yourself. Good luck!

At the end of her pregnacy (of me) my mum was huge, she couldn't see her own feet. One day, she went outside the house sporting different shoes on each foot, you know, like she was at the supermarket, at the postoffice, at the butcher, practically everywhere. She realized it when she was already back at home. She was so emotionally unstable she started to cry on a 'i'm so fat i cant even see my own feet' way, but it was actually pretty funny.

Julia 'Garlow' Willhite I wasn't sure if anyone shared this with you the other day when you posted pics from your shopping trip. I bookmarked this tutorial from another nestie's blog ages ago and even bought the materials, just haven't gotten to it yet!

. Unscrew the screws to take off the hinge, and pop off the lock. This is easily done if you have a small flat head screwdriver.

Annie Pagett

Annie Pagett Window dressing dilema? Any suggestions on how to dress a window with molding that is finished all the way to ceiling? It currently has custom blinds, unfortunately they are the cheap ones. I can't do anything with them since it's a rental, but I was hoping to dress with curtains. Thanks!

Definitely hang floor length curtains super wide (at least 18" outside the trim on both sides) and at ceiling height to make the window feel less skinny and more wide (which will offset the fact that it's practically touching the ceiling). We like Ikea curtains (long white breezy ones would add a lot of softness without breaking the bank). Hope it helps!

Kelly Smith

Kelly Smith Hi youngsters! One of the "bargain" blogs that I read posted about a great cloth diaper deal. I wanted to pass it on ot you guys since you are going that route. this is not my blog, just one I read daily!

myfrugaladventures.com
I had two readers ask for cloth diaper deals last week so I thought I’d mention you can order cloth diapers through diapers.com. They have Fuzzi Buns on sale for $17.95 or the g diapers are $16.99. The also have a great price on Kushies.

Another great place to buy cloth diapers (fuzzibunz at least) is www.fuzzibunzstore.com. They offer free shipping, extra inserts and elastic with each diaper, and great prices. Check out their "clearance" section too. I'm not affiliated with them in any way, just a very pleased customer :)

This week’s burning question is all about smells. Namely: do you use any form of air freshener in your house to keep it smelling… well, fresh? Is it a plug in? Potpurri? A scented candle? A diffuser? Some sort of heated oil? Or something a bit more natural (like lemons down the

Yes...Donita's home smells amazing! I love the "bottled candle" sprays from Walmart. About $5? I spray them on the light bulbs or the heater vent when someone pulls in the driveway. They say..."Oh, it smells delicious in here. What are you baking?"

Donita, those Hazelnut Creme candles are my favorite! Even in the $1 mini-incarnation, they are the best smelling candles out there, hands-down. Unfortunately, they wake up my desire to go buy a really expensive coffee...
