My husband has been sick for weeks now and I just keep taking the zicam...spray and chewables...and the nasal spray if I start to feel stuffed up. So far I have battled and won the war against this cold my husband has!!! YAY!!! I agree about the nasal swabs too, they were my fave.

I agree with Diana. Cigarettes definitely cause a loss of sense of smell - we need to be informed, but we also need to be able to choose. I think the zince in a nasal swab is more readily adsorbed than in the tablet. I've used Zicam ever since it's been on the market and give it to my children. Have never had a problem, and the stuff if REALLY effective.

I love Zicam and am so upset they took the swabs off the market. Luckily, last week when my husband came down with a NASTY cold, I had a box leftover from last year. He suffered with the cold for two days before I convinced him to try the swabs. Next day he woke up completely recovered. They are amazing! I have not had a cold in over 4 years thanks to the swabs... please bring them back!!!!!

The gel swabs have lessened the severity of colds for me now for three years. The packaging improvements helped a lot compared to the original one which sometimes were difficult to open. Here's hoping the FDA and Zicam can work together to get this product back on store shelves as soon as possible.

My sense of smell has diminished significantly; I can't smell food, flowers, and anything that is not in front of my noise I cannot smell. I did have temporary loss of smell during my cold when using Zicam but I thought it was just my nasal passage, my cold has been long gone and I can smell only minimal not as before. I admired your product since 2001 but now your product did this.
YOU SHOULD NOW DEVELOP A PRODUCT TO GIVE THE PEOPLE THEIR SENSE OF SMELL BACK!

Kerry By God, they finally found a cure for the common cold. I hope whomever invented this stuff got the Nobel Prize for Medicine. It's pretty gutsy to put "Remedy" on the label, but this one lives up to that claim. Two weeks ago my husband and son both came down with bad colds. They didn't take it when they first got sympt...oms. Three days later I started getting a headache, sore throat, and sneezing. I took Zicam and woke up the next day just fine. Zicam has prevented me from getting colds for the past five years.

Lori Hermelin Bush The swabs are amazing. I keep them with me ALWAYS and use one whenever I'm exposed to a cold. No sense in waiting to find out if I'm going to get sick ... without Zicam, I will. With Zicam, haven't had a cold "stick" in the past few years.
