Chris: Not everyone who calls him/herself a Christian follows the ways of Christ. I think we need to get out of the habit of condemning all Christians based on the bad acts of the ones who we see on TV. Real Christians are well-known for their forgiveness and their love for their enemies.

most of the trouble with drugs is they're illegal- look at the role Prohibition played in the growth of organized crime. Dealers can charge whatever they want, so the users get desperate and commit crime to pay. Also, dealers can't take users to court to get paid, so they resort to violence. As for the economy, most of the money currently spent on drug enforcement could be used to create jobs, etc.

IIAny idiot that would say that 'Dope' (Which destroys the brain, and impairs you PERMANENTLY) is great for you, or is the same as a glass of wine (Alcohol) is detached from reality and I will not ever deal with them, period. I could argue for hours, but how can you reason with a 'pothead' so I leave it there.

The point is that man has been fouling his own nest. Are there natural cycles? Sure. But has our behavior thrown those cycles out of whack? Definitely. We made the mess, so we should clean it up.

They have the REAL killer behind bars, and convicted already. Amanda didn't do it. If you have watched all the news stories you will have seen it. A writer found out about the judicial system and it's corruption the hard way when he researched a serial killer. If justice is to be serverd Amanda will be found not guilty and sent home.

The research is not there but they have to start somewhere. One concern is the tolerance level. If they keep giving marijuana to these children their bodies will become tolerant to the level being administrated and they will have to be given more to uphold it's effect. I'm sure this is also true of other drugs being administered to these children. It's certainly a controversial treatment.

Us children who were given up at birth by our own biological parents ALSO have suffered the same taunts and hurts from those taunts and all from not "matching" our "parents" as other children did, and so on and so on and so on. It is an abandonment issue, separation anxieties and all so related, that each of us have to get thru then get over, in ... See Morewhatever ways that work for us, over the years. Kids are going to tease, even adults will be cruel and ask WHY are you with so and so and more questions that are private and really none of their business. And it has been in that kind of suffering and humiliation and frustration that has helped form the strong backbone and higher moral ground that is now a part of my being and lifestyle. Not saying I would wish it on another, but we have to make that lemonade from all those lemons we are given, or...else. It is a choice. I believe with adoptees it is the ever gnawing and growing unknown that drives them to search for their bio parents, esp. just simply needing important into for their own medical records, etc., and their subsequent children, not just for emotionally fulfilling reasons. It can be a very grievous situation. I pray the best for adoptees, adopters, and biological parents all.
